Alex, Before you started at the University did you know about the calendar? AM: My interest in photography was entirely about looking at men naked, and I realized that I had issues around looking at men naked. They had no rules. They are very different rules — how we look at men and how we look at women. What is wrong with nakedness when it is just natural and not aggressive?
