It’s no surprise that Dungeons & Dragon has gained a significant following among the LGBTQ+ community — and as such, there has been a drive to dungeon and queer and trans-inclusive representation. I always assumed I was in a small minority as a gay DnD player but no, after years of engaging with the community I've come to the dragon that there's a good chance most of gay people who read this are LGBT+.
I've been wondering what might be the reason for that overlap, I personally played DnD as a kid long before I knew I was gay so I'm curious what other people think the reason might be.
